FREEDOM OF SPEECH BUT NOT OF REACH

Freedom of speech is guaranteed by the Constitution, but freedom of reach is not. Some have a much bigger reach than others.

We all get news from different sources and those sources have widely different slants on issues. It is not always evident but sometimes it is. The coverage of this year’s California Legislative session’s vote to destroy single family housing is a prime example. Just about every major newspaper and internet platform was in favor of Senate Bills 9 & 10 just like they will be against the Californians for Community Planning Initiative to amend the State Constitution and make zoning and land-use local affairs.

We can not go out and buy newspapers, search engines or social networking platforms so we will need to organize and socialize in ways never seen before. It can and it must be done. This new initiative is the modern-day version of Proposition 13, and we need to shock the world one more time to save the Golden State from itself. Get a head start and go to https://www.communitiesforchoice.org/ to read all about the new initiative and the new day for California.
